Aeolis Tournament
Aeolis Tournament is a vibrant, chaotic 3D party action game developed by Beyond Fun Studio and published by Beyond Fun Studio and NA Publishing Inc. Released on Steam on July 16, 2020, it invites up to eight players to compete in the Storm Championship using the power of the wind.
Players control colorful characters armed with air cannons that operate on a simple one-button mechanic. Holding the button vacuums air in, while releasing it unleashes a powerful blast. This versatile tool lets you push opponents, grab and throw objects as projectiles, propel yourself across slippery surfaces, or redirect items in mid-air. The physics-based gameplay turns every match into a lively struggle of timing, positioning, and creativity.
The game shines in its tournament mode, where players battle through a series of short, high-energy mini-games and earn ranking points. The player with the most points at the end claims victory and bragging rights. Quick Play lets you jump straight into individual modes, while Tournament Mode strings them together for longer sessions of friendly (or intense) competition. Both local split-screen and online multiplayer are supported, and AI bots of adjustable difficulty fill empty slots so solo practice or incomplete groups still work smoothly.
Game modes creatively reinvent familiar concepts around the air cannon. In The Perfect Storm, players try to blast each other off a floating island into the water. Explosive Dodgeball pits teams against each other as they hurl bombs and debris. Sportsball and Air Hockey deliver goal-scoring chaos with different balls and physics reactions. Snowball Battle turns into a rapid-fire snowball fight where larger packed snowballs score more points. Marble Thief challenges players to launch marbles into scoring channels on a rotating platform while avoiding falls. Chaos events—thunderstorms, lava geysers, mudslides, meteors, blizzards, and falling crates—randomly disrupt arenas and keep every match unpredictable. Destructible environments let you smash scenery into usable projectiles, and temporary power-ups boost speed, force, or range at key moments.
Beyond the matches, Aeolis Tournament offers progression through achievements that unlock currency for character skins, accessories, customization options, and extra content. Stats track performance at the end of each game, and the colorful, cartoonish art style paired with reactive physics creates an accessible yet skillful experience suitable for families, casual groups, or competitive friends.
