About the Game

Step inside a moving canvas and witness the human side of history. 11-11: Memories Retold is an emotional, choice-driven narrative adventure set against the backdrop of the Western Front during World War I. Created through a unique collaboration between studio DigixArt and the multi-Academy Award-winning artists at Aardman Animations, the game brings the war’s final years to life through a living, impressionist painterly art style.

The narrative follows two men drawn to the frontline from opposite sides of the conflict: Harry, an idealistic young Canadian photographer seduced by visions of adventure and heroics, and Kurt, a dedicated German technician driven to the front lines by an urgent mission to find his missing son. Voiced by Elijah Wood and Sebastian Koch, their journeys mirror, cross, and collide across trenches, ruined towns, and shifting frontlines.

Guided by loyalty, family, and survival, your choices dictate how their stories unfold. Switch between both perspectives—and occasionally take control of animal companions like a trench cat or pigeon—to navigate puzzles, complete photographs, uncover historical collectibles, and decide how these two men face the eleventh hour of the eleventh day.
